MORE ABOUt my career

My journalistic and media work has taken me around the world – where I worked previously as an in-house Interviewer, Producer and lone, self-shooting Video Journalist for the England Men’s Cricket Team, covering extensive tours away to Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.

I was also – for just over a three-year period – based in Dubai, UAE, where I worked as a Senior Sports Journalist and Digital Content Editor for industry leader, Sport360°. Separately, I have also work-travelled elsewhere – reporting at events and conducting interviews in a number of countries, from Qatar to Germany to the United States.

With a solid background and pedigree as a news journalist working in UK media, I enjoyed spells in my early career at ITV News and MailOnline as well as spent time operating as a news and sports agency reporter with Hayters Teamwork. On top of this, I was part of the in-house media team at the All England Club for the 2013 Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

More recently, I have worked in Government Press Relations and Communications – playing a key role, among various other responsibilities, in relaying important messaging and policy developments externally, as well as handling crisis communications and reputation management scenarios. This included a spell working for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and Her Majesty’s Coastguard in the Department for Transport before – in April 2022 – I joined the Mayor of London team at City Hall.

Please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn.

Throughout the course of my career, I have completed interviews with hundreds of well-known people, including sporting greats like Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Billie Jean King, John McEnroe, Andy Murray, Zinedine Zidane, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Roberto Carlos, Shane Warne, James Anderson, Sir Ian Botham, Ben Stokes, the Klitschko brothers, Anthony Joshua, Usain Bolt, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis-Hill to name but a few – while I have also completed one-on-one interviews with famous names such as Sir David Attenborough, Sir Michael Parkinson, Dame Barbara Windsor, Stephen Fry and Sir Richard Branson.
