Stuart Appleby interviews 1996 Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek after his defeat to Pat Cash in the AEGON Masters Tennis Legend’s group at the Royal Albert Hall. The 40-year-old, who has been the tournament director of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam since 2004, lost to the Australian 6-7 6-4 10-6 (Champions Tie-Break).
Although the former world number four defeated Frenchman Henri Leconte 6-4 6-4 in his second match, any hopes that he might have harboured of making the Legend’s final were distinguished when John McEnroe rolled back the years to win their match 6-3 7-5.
